This compact wire-speed tester can be configured with either 6 x GbE ports or 2 x 10GbE ports.Priced Under $10K per 10GbE port or 6 x 1GbE ports

40Gb & 100Gb CFP Transceiver Modules
Xena is pleased to announce that our 40Gb and 100Gb Ethernet test platforms will support and ship with 40Gb and 100Gb Ethernet CFP transceiver modules from Reflex Photonics. Xena also plans to support a number of CFP transceiver modules from other manufacturers and will announce these as samples are made available for early product testing.

The Reflex Photonics 40Gb and 100Gb CFP transceiver modules (shown above) will be one of the interface options available to customers ordering XenaCompact and XenaBay platforms.

In April 2010, Xena Networks will begin beta testing its low cost wire speed 40Gb/100Gb Ethernet test platform with network equipment manufacturers and network service providers in North America and Europe

The C1-M1CFP is a member of Xena’s XenaCompact product series with a feature set identical to and compatible with the features found on our 10 Gbps and 10/100/1000M Ethernet XenaCompact test port interfaces.

The C1-M1CFP will initially provide framed BERT capability and PMA (CAUI/XLAUI) test features and will host 40Gb and 100Gb Ethernet interfaces compliant with the IEEE 802.3ba draft specification. The platform will support a number of transceiver modules including 100Gb/40Gb CFP-MSA, 100Gb CXP and 40Gb QSFP.

The 100Gb test interface is compliant to the IEEE 802.3ba draft specification for 100GBASE-SR10 links. The interface will be implemented using a Reflex Photonics CFP module featuring a single MPO (Multi-Fiber Push On) connector that is CXP interoperable.

The 40Gb test interface is compliant to the IEEE 802.3ba draft specification for 40GBASE-SR4 links. In a similar fashion, the interface will be implemented using a Reflex Photonics CFP module featuring dual MPO connectors that are QSFP interoperable

Field-Test Version of MEF-9 & MEF-14

Net-O2 Technologies has just announced the industry's first MEF9 and MEF 14 field testing conformance test solutions on XenaCompact Ethernet test platform, for verifying Carrier Ethernet services in Service Provider networks.

ATTEST-CTS MEF9 and MEF 14 are designed to perform MEF9 and 14 tests in Field deployments using a set of remote XenaCompact systems, as well as Lab tests using standalone systems. This provides a significant step forward from current solutions that do not support the capability to perform these tests at geographically separate locations.

Service Providers can use ATTEST MEF9 and MEF14 conformance test suites to ensure that the Ethernet services they offer to their Enterprise customers meet the SLAs. Network equipment manufacturers can use these test suites to assure that their products can be used in the Metro Ethernet Network (MEN) for seamless access to Ethernet Services.

The Xena and Net-O2 Protocol Conformance & Functional Verification Testing Solution

Xena Networks and Net-O2 Technologies have worked together to create an innovative Ethernet test platform that combines Xena’s high performance, wire-speed Ethernet test hardware with Net-O2’s broad portfolio of IP & Ethernet functional and conformance test suites.
